Overview

Understand the subject — and the exam

Psychology rewards students who genuinely understand the theory and can apply it under exam conditions. Tutoring is built around both: making the core material click, and developing the essay and exam technique that turns understanding into marks. Sessions are one-to-one and shaped entirely around your syllabus, your exam date, and the topics you find hardest.

It is taught by a warranted psychologist and psychometrician with academic training (MSc, Limerick; B. Psychology (Hons.), Melit.) — so the support goes beyond rote learning to the reasoning examiners are looking for.

Questions

Frequently asked

What levels do you tutor?

From secondary (SEC) and Intermediate & Advanced Matriculation (MATSEC) through to undergraduate Psychology. Sessions are pitched precisely to your level and syllabus.

Do you cover research methods and statistics?

Yes — these are often where students lose marks, and where a psychometrician's experience helps most. They're taught clearly and applied directly to your syllabus and assessments.

Are sessions in person or online?

Either. Tutoring can be held in person in Malta or by video call, with flexible scheduling around your timetable.

Can you help close to exams?

Yes. Focused exam preparation — past papers, timed practice, and technique — is a core part of the work, including more intensive sessions in the run-up to exams.

How are sessions structured?

One-to-one and tailored to your syllabus, your exam date, and the areas you find hardest, with materials and practice to consolidate learning between sessions.

Can you support a dissertation or research project?

Yes. At undergraduate level I can offer guidance on research design, methods, and analysis to help you approach your project with confidence.

Exams on the horizon?

Get in touch with your level, syllabus, and exam date, and we'll plan the support around them.
